Why Yemen?

The humanitarian crisis in Yemen is the biggest of our time. Since 2015, Yemen has been in an active state of conflict, displacing three million people and leaving 80% of the total population – 24.1 million people – in need of humanitarian assistance. Twenty million people in Yemen cannot access health care nor have enough food to eat, while nearly 18 million people do not have access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities. As the conflict continues, the needs of families in Yemen only continue to grow.

How You Can Help

The needs in Yemen cannot wait; the time to act is now. With your support Medair can continue providing lifesaving health and nutrition services reaching malnourished mothers and children, establishing safe drinking water sources and educating people on hygiene, health and nutrition. Your gift makes it possible to reach vulnerable families in Yemen through our emergency response.
