Why not invite a Medair speaker to visit and inspire your congregation through a Medair update and/or a biblical reflection. Booking a speaker is completely free of charge and we are available for Sunday services, but also during the week for church groups.

Book a free facilitator for Medair interactive events

We offer interactive events for the whole church or for smaller groups, for your community to learn more about Medair through having fun, while also reflecting on God’s love for the most vulnerable.

Medair Church ambassador

Appoint someone from your community or sign up yourself to act as a Medair church ambassador. The ambassador’s role is to share the work and ministry of Medair to their congregation. They will receive regular resources for church displays, church emails or newsletters, and will be kept up to date with prayer requests and local events.

What is the added value for my church of partnering with Medair?

As Christian aid workers, we can offer your church very practical ways of living out their faith in community to change the daily lives of those who suffer, as Matthew 25:40 asks us to do. We can also provide speakers for your events and meetings, send you quarterly prayer requests so that you can pray with us, and provide resources for your small group, youth and children's meetings.

As a partner church, you will provide vital help by supporting health and nutrition projects, shelter and clean water for victims of crises and disasters. You can choose to sponsor a particular country or crisis, or you can support us where the needs are greatest and ensure that no one is left behind.

I'd like my church to partner with Medair. How do I get started?

First of all, let's discuss the different options together and find the one that suits you best. Get in touch with the person in charge of relations with the Churches and Christian communities and don't hesitate to sign up to receive our regular prayer requests so that you can pray with us for the most vulnerable.

My church is already a Medair partner. How can we stay updated on the impact of our donations?

We are transparent in the use of our funds. Internationally, 88.9% of any donation we receive goes directly to implementing humanitarian projects and only 11.1% is used for administration and fundraising. Financial accountability is a priority and we strictly adhere to the organisation's code of conduct and safeguarding policies. All this is explained in our Commitment to our donors.

Can I request a speaker or presentation for my church service or event?

Yes, we're delighted every time a community invites us to talk about our work and the different ways of getting involved. Just ask the person in charge of relations with churches and Christian communities.

Welk verschil kun je maken als kerk?

Als kerk help je mee levens te redden. Verder maak je het mogelijk dat Medair bij rampen en geweld zorgt voor medische zorg, voeding, onderdak, schoon water en sanitair. Je kunt ervoor kiezen een specifiek project te steunen, of voor waar de bijdrage het meest nodig is.

Hoe garandeert Medair dat bijdragen van de kerk goed besteed worden?

We zijn transparant over onze financiën en zetten ons in om giften goed en verantwoord te besteden. 88.9% van onze totale inkomsten gaat direct naar humanitaire hulp en 11.1% naar organisatie en fondsenwerving. Ja, we zijn blij elke keer dat een community ons uitnodigt om te praten over ons werk en de verschillende manieren om betrokken te raken. Vraag het maar aan de persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor de betrekkingen met kerken en christelijke gemeenschappen.
