Why South Sudan?
Conflict has forced people from their homes and families have been separated. Livelihoods have been severely affected as people have been unable to plant and harvest. Most families are hungry and struggling to afford market prices that are continuing to rise. People have lost their livestock; they are unable to cope with further shocks.
How You Can Help
People need reasons to hold on to hope during complex, long-term crises. They need the basics of life: water that will not make them ill, health care and nutrition for their children, shelter and essential supplies while they are displaced and when they can return to their homes. They need to know they have not been forgotten, that their lives matter. Your support makes that happen in South Sudan.
