Why Jordan?

Jordan hosts approximately 755,000 refugees, most of whom are from Syria. The cost of living is high in Jordan, and Syrian refugees – who cannot work without a permit – struggle to find ways to feed their families, pay for health care, or cover their basic needs. Eight years into the crisis, Syrian refugees live in limbo, unable to attain residency status in Jordan, and unwilling to go back to Syria until it is safe to return.

How You Can Help

You can stand with Syrian refugees and help them live with dignity. Your gifts provide refugees with urgent health care and offer essential care to pregnant women and new mothers. Your support makes it possible for vulnerable families to receive cash to cover basic needs, and to get the mental health care they need to recover from traumatic experiences.
