Führungspositionen sind in unseren Projektgebieten, in den Länderbüros und am Schweizer Hauptsitz zu besetzen. Ihr Aufgabengebiet ist unterschiedlich. In der Regel werden folgende Punkte jedoch vorausgesetzt:
- Führen von verschiedenen Teams
- Umgang mit unsicheren Gebieten
- Fähigkeit, verschiedene Interessensgruppen zu koordinieren
- Entwicklung und Steuerung von Kernstrategien

The Roving Project Coordinator leads and manages the implementation of field projects, ensuring strategic direction, management, and evaluation. Key responsibilities include team leadership, security oversight, and liaison with local authorities and stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively. The role involves assessments, research, and partnership development in response to evolving needs.
Project Coordinator
ROC Required
The Project Coordinator provides leadership and operational oversight and responsibility for designated field projects, ensuring effective implementation, coordination, and security management. The role guides diverse provincial teams, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and contributes to access negotiations and overall project delivery.
Deputy Country Director, Generic
ROC Required
Working at country-level, the Deputy Country Director provides strategic, operational, and managerial leadership to ensure effective programme implementation and support function performance. The role supports country strategy development, oversees programme coordination, strengthens systems and compliance, and deputizes for the Country Director when required. The DCD plays a key role in donor engagement, external representation, and cross-team collaboration.

Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises. When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
