Role Overview
The Senior Business Analysts will support the organisation with the configuration, implementation and support of a supply chain solution on Microsoft Power Platform.
Project Overview
Global ITS provides Medair with centralised governance, strategy, direction, innovation and support in the use of the information technologies that amplify people-to-people strategy. Global ITS provides a centralised approach to ensure cost efficiency and integration, including country programs in the strategic design of systems, and delivers services locally where practical to ensure that the day-to-day needs of our GSO and country program colleagues are met.
The development of a new SCMS is an exciting innovative and strategic decision made by Medair. It will see the development of a suite of tools within Microsoft Power through a new partner. This solution covers the Procurement, Warehouse Management, Equipment Management and Fleet Management. It will channel data and information in a transparent and organized way so as to enable a higher level of collaboration and a better-informed decision-making process for Medair. The Senior Business Analyst will start mid-way through the project, and will primarily be responsible for testing and implementing tools across the whole of Medair.

Key Activity Areas
Business Analysis
- Identify and prioritise technical and functional requirements, obtaining feedback and gaining approval to Design relevant data-models in order to report from multiple systems and data sources.
- Document business requirements and create detailed functional/technical system specifications.
- Create policies, Standard Operation Procedure documents (SOPs) and user manuals with process owners.
- Ensure the preparation in advance of the workshops with a clear view of the requirements’ expectations.
- Translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs.
- Solution design with consideration UX & business process automation principles and data modeling techniques.
- Create and design technical specification documentation.
- Support the Project Manager where necessary to:
- Manage the product backlog and present sprint proposals and reviews to different stakeholders.
- Manage MEDAIR resources: organization of meetings and making sure MEDAIR resources have enough availability to do the project in time and with the expected quality.
- Arbitrate between business requirements, budget and key milestones.
- Ensure the participation of the key stakeholders to the workshops and the various project meetings.
- Monitor burn rate, scope coverage rate, project progress.
- Work with stakeholder and SMEs to align expectations whilst maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the planned features or components.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders attend Sprint retrospectives.
- Monitor deliverables, provides corrective action, and reports to project steering committee.
- Be part of internal and cross-cutting projects to ensure the alignment of business processes and solutions, and manage the integration of systems.
Implementation
- Implement or oversee implementation, coordinating test, observing initiation of system to validate performance
- Organize and participate in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT – after the delivery of each sprint) and User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
- Deliver test plans for each delivery and the UAT test scenarios
- Obtain feedback from stakeholders and reporting of test results and bugs in TFS
- Validate the solution developed by developers, identify & train trainers to build capacity in country programs.
- Training and adaptation of the training support for end users and provide second level support to users
- Organise and manage data migration incl. cut-over planning and drive resolution of issues that come up
- Rollout solutions to pilots and country programs according to the implementation plan (data migration, end user training, go life, hyper care)
- Stay up to date: use existing trainings, (community) resources, and develop skills and knowledge about the latest features. Train users accordingly
Vendor Management
- Work with contracted service providers and other technical groups to design and implement solutions.
Innovation/changes
- This position requires an awareness of current developments in technology, methodologies (Agile/Scrum, etc) & the ability to identify gaps in the process & propose improvements in the systems workflow or business processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Systems or similar.
- Microsoft Power Platform Certification (desirable)
- Any additional specialization would be an asset: DMBOK, BABOK, SAFE, TOGAF, CSM/CSPO, PSM/PSPO, APICS
- Excellent working knowledge of the English language (speaking and writing), French advantageous.
Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC)
What is the ROC and why is it required?
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a relevant field of work
- Experience in business systems analysis, design thinking, data modelling & system testing to a senior level
- Confidence & experience in dealing with C-suite level executives within large, cross-cultural, global organizations
- Knowledge of enterprise business systems ERP/SCM/P2P solutions, Low-Code and No-Code Platforms and analytics (desirable), especially in the areas of SCM/Logistics
- Business Process Mapping (BPMN 2.0, UML (Unified Modelling Language), etc.)
- Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps (model driven app), Power Automate, Connectors, Azure, Dataverse, Power BI experience an advantage.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms and Project Management tools, general project steps
- Experience in developing processes, creating end-user documentation, working in agile teams & metodologies
