As one of our core strengths, our Health, Nutrition & Psychosocial staff are critical to our field programming worldwide. They work to save as many lives as possible during emergencies, reduce the risk of illness and disease in their aftermath, address trauma and abuse in conflicts, and strengthen local health services to serve their communities better long after we leave.
We look for health professionals who:
- Are qualified doctors, nurses, midwives, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, or nutritionists
- Have experience in primary health care, international public health, tropical medicine, community nutrition and medicine, and/or health education
- Have previous experience delivering health services in developing countries, in emergency settings and/or during disease outbreaks
- Possess training and skills in project management, budget management, and people management—especially the training and empowering of other staff
