Why Afghanistan?
The number of people needing humanitarian assistance has skyrocketed since January 2021 and most of the country is in extreme drought. Without a healthy harvest, the coming winter will be harsher than ever. The level of severe malnutrition in children is staggering. You can show Afghan people that they have not been forgotten.
Afghanistan is a complex crisis. We’ve been there for 25 years and we’re more committed than ever to reaching remote communities with life-saving aid. The most vulnerable people are women and children. We focus on helping them with access to health care, treatment for malnutrition, and short-term cash assistance for purchasing food during harsh winters.
