So many young lives at risk
There are an estimated 240,000 acutely malnourished children in Somalia. Children like Suad (pictured right), who at two-years-old weighed no more than five bags of sugar. She couldn't eat or drink, was vomiting and wouldn't have survived for long without urgent help.
It takes so little to make a life-saving difference
Just £15 buys enough PlumpyNut - a nutritious peanut-based paste - to nurse a starving child back to health. Just Like Suad.
Henrieke Hommes, a nurse and Medair's Country Director for Somalia, reported on Suad's progress, "Within a few weeks, a miracle occurred. Suad put on weight. What a joy to see kids finding the strength to live again."
Please give a gift today to help another child like Suad. Thank you.
