Headquarters Staff
At Medair’s international headquarters (HQ) – located in Ecublens, near Lausanne, Switzerland – our dedicated team of 70 staff provide leadership and support for all of our country programmes throughout the world.
Staff members in every department are inspired by the knowledge that, in their daily jobs, they play an integral role in bringing emergency relief and rehabilitation to the most vulnerable.
Medair HQ provides operational guidance for country programmes and activities, along with both technical and compassionate support for our relief workers. HQ staff also promote the work of Medair to the world and raise and manage the funds needed to run our life-saving programmes.

Medair is often looking for experienced professionals to join the team at HQ. Professionals with a background in humanitarian aid are a particular asset, as are professionals with experience in the sectors of health services, water and sanitation, and shelter and infrastructure.
We are also interested in professionals with a background in management, finance, human resources, logistics, ICT, fundraising, marketing and communications, or administration.

What are Medair’s selection criteria for HQ Staff?
- Committed Christians
- Swiss or EU citizens, or a valid Swiss work permit
- Commitment to the Medair Values
- At least one year of professional experience in a relevant field (more experience preferred)
- Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
