Overview of Medair's emergency response after the Gafilo cylone ravaged Madagascar's north-east cost.
Following a rapid assessment, Medair managed to clean and disinfect 1,400 wells in flooded villages. The team dropped as well chlorine water disinfectant and buckets by helicopter and boat to the thousands of people that remained marooned in flooded villages for weeks.

Après une rapide évaluation des dégâts, Medair a nettoyé et désinfecté en quelques jours 1400 puits dans les villages inondés. L'équipe a délivré par hélicoptère ou par bateau des désinfectants pour l'eau et de seaux aux milliers de personnes bloquées pendant des semaines dans les zones inondées.
