Medair, Accreditations and Certificates

  Medair and ISO 9001
In its particular sector, Medair has acquired a reputation for integrity and professionalism. Medair is one of the few humanitarian NGOs with an ISO 9001:2000 certification world-wide. Its unique and innovative quality system is organised around the satisfaction, not only of its donors, but of the beneficiaries of its humanitarian aid services.

The ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification covers the totality of all administrative and humanitarian activities implemented by Medair at its field locations in crises-affected countries, as well as at its Swiss headquarters and in the national branches of its European network.

  Medair and Zewo
Zewo The ZEWO label, only available to state-approved Swiss organisations, testifies to the intended and effective use of donations. It guarantees the integrity of Medair’s publications and, in particular, its appeals for funds. It calls for optimal accounting and operational transparency, confirmed by continuous independent monitoring.

  Medair and RfB
Netherlands
RfB The RfB aims to monitor and improve the financial conduct of affiliate organisations, for the benefit of people wishing to donate money to these organisations. RfB certified organisations agree to adhere to a code of conduct for fundraising and publications. They comply with regulations aimed at ensuring that information about their income and expenses is presented in such a way that it gives readers a clear overview of the financial conduct of the organisation.

  Medair and FSB
Medair and FRSB The Fundraising Standards Board (FSRB) is the body for self-regulation of fundraising in the UK. The FSRB scheme is open to all fundraising organisations and members agree to adhere to the highest standards of good practice with their fundraising and a Fundraising Promise. They will demonstrate membership of the scheme by using the scheme logo on their fundraising materials. By participating in the scheme charities are both advertising their commitment to best fundraising practices and giving the public the comfort of a 'safety net' provided by a robust complaints system.
