Same Vision - 20 Years On
In December 1988, a small team of committed volunteers began providing emergency relief to vulnerable people living in displacement camps in Soroti, Uganda.
By 1989, this dedicated group of volunteers had officially incorporated and the organisation known as Medair had come into being.
Twenty years have passed since that first mission to Uganda and the organisation has grown and changed in many ways, but Medair remains focused on the same compassionate objectives: bringing life-saving emergency relief and rehabilitation in disasters, areas of conflict, and other crises by working alongside the most vulnerable.
