Sudan
A long history of conflict has led to widespread suffering in Sudan’s northern states.
We have been working in northern Sudan since 2000, and are currently providing multisectoral relief and rehabilitation in two geographic areas: South Kordofan and West Darfur. Our main goals are to increase access to primary health care and to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene, including emergency crisis responses when necessary.
Medair currently employs approximately 27 internationally recruited staff (IRS) and 200 nationally recruited staff (NRS).
