Afghanistan
Three decades of violent conflict and insurrection have left Afghanistan as one of the poorest and most underdeveloped nations in the world.
Active in the country since 1996, Medair’s objective is to assist Afghanistan’s most vulnerable and isolated communities, and to address the needs of the chronically poor and those affected by disaster.
Our team of 15 internationally recruited staff and 175 nationally recruited staff are involved in WASH, food aid, nutrition, and emergency response projects.
