From Earthquake to Safe Shelter
Medair and local Indonesian partner Cipta Fondasi Komunitas (CFK, ‘Creating Foundations for Community’) coordinate the construction of up to 2,400 transitional shelters in earthquake-affected Padang Pariaman district.
In a temporary camp in Southern Sudan, Medair provides people with a central source of safe drinking water.
With Water that Quenches the Thirst

In Maban county, Medair provides clean water, builds latrines, and raises hygiene awareness for families living in temporary returnee camps. These are just a few of the millions of people who are now able to drink safe water because of Medair.

Health Care That Nurtures and Nourishes
This photo gallery shows images from a Medair malnutrition clinic in drought-stricken Burao, Somaliland—a region where more than 3.5 million people are in dire need of humanitarian aid, and one in every six children suffers from malnutrition. Medair is on-the-ground providing life-saving nutritional aid for children under five.
In the remote province of Badakhshan, Medair staff can only reach many villages by travelling on horseback for days at a time.
