What is your job at Medair?
As acting director of Medair Switzerland, my job is to give encouragement and motivation to the teams in order to help us achieve our objectives and build long-term strong relationships with our generous donors.

Danielle Harbaugh - Medair Switzerland manager
What is your job at Medair?
I supervise the department’s activities, from fundraising to donor relations and recruitment of field personnel. I facilitate and coordinate each team member’s work so that they can give their best in a structured and serene environment.
A message for the internet?
I have seen on the field, working in Madagascar, how much impact your donations have on the daily lives of the people we help. The values of Medair touch me a lot because they are true and lived through. They are not just a brand!
Antoine Baer - Administrative Officer
What is your job at Medair?
I give an administrative support to the department’s activities, so that the development of projects may be efficient and that each can do their work in the best way.
A message for the internet?
To give, you have to choose with your heart. I am convinced that the people who spend time to know more of Medair will not regret it… and will be so enthusiastic that they will give as well.

What is your job at Medair?
My goal is to make the reality of our beneficiaries as close to you as possible: How do they live? How have you helped them?

Brigitte Faure - Reception and donor relations
What is your job at Medair?
I think that I have the best position, or at least the one that suits me best: I am receptionist. I like the different contacts with donors. It is very pleasant to be able to say “Thank you” to them!

I am proud to know that so many Swiss people are intent on offering a new hope and a better life. It is an invaluable gift.
Cynthia Tchaban - Database management
What is your job at Medair?
I take care of the database, working so that each donor may be treated individually and his wishes respected. I am happy to be able to thank every donation according its fair value!
A message for the internet?
My 6-year-old son himself held dear to give his note of 5 euros to the poor! He then prayed that this money would help as many people as possible. Listen to your heart!
Inger Krafft - Reception and donor relations
What is your job at Medair?
My work is based on welcome and reception, may it be by telephone communication or directly with the person.
A message for the internet?
Do not hesitate to come visit us… It would be another occasion for us to say thank you and you will be able to discover another side of Medair!
Laurence Rouxel - Fundraising
What is your job at Medair?
My role is increase Swiss people’s awareness of Medair. When I read stories and field reports to write letters or articles, I have the impression of travelling. I feel what these people victims of crisis live, their challenges and their determination to get out of it.

Words are good, actions are better. You can be sure that Medair’s values are lived daily, at the HQ as well as on the field.
Marie-José Fivaz - Administration and donor relations
What is your job at Medair?
I do keyboarding and telephone contacts with certain donors, both of which bring much variety and satisfaction to my work.

Véronique André - External relations
What is your job at Medair?
I take care of external relations to raise awareness of Medair, as well as recruitment needs, may it be during events, in churches and through ambassadors.

Everybody can be a link in this big human chain to achieve the beneficiaries’ needs, whatever be your age and your means. Be creative to be united with them!
